This qualitative study using Consensual Qualitative Research (CQR) interviewed eight South Korean TCKs about their university repatriation experiences. Four domains emerged from the data: academic adjustment, individual relationships, individual adjustment, and involvement with campus features. Thirteen core ideas were reported within these domains. The study provides important data from a non-Western TCK context and highlights language difficulties, interpersonal challenges, and the specific pressures faced by Korean-passport TCKs returning to a Korean university environment.
